CoinMENA is a Sharia-compliant digital assets exchange that is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). By providing the MENA region with easy access to trading and crypto trading, CoinMENA not only closes a huge market gap - they also bring the investment game to a new level by empowering new and seasoned players through competitive fees, high liquidity, and an educational approach.

Their mission is to be the simplest, and most trusted digital assets exchange platform in the MENA region. That’s why CoinMENA teamed up with us to realize these objectives through high quality design. We got tasked with the complete redesign of their website and iOS application - on top of that, we’ve updated their brand identity to properly express their top spot in the industry.

For the new app design, we strongly focused on realizing CoinMENA’s goals to be as accessible and easy-to-use as possible. To achieve this, we went through a series of iterations, until we finalized on a clean, smooth, and user-friendly design that perfectly captures the spirit of coinMENA.

CoinMENA wanted to provide a simple and fast onboarding experience for their users. That’s why we designed the sign-up process to take less than a minute to complete, and which is optimized to be as seamless and intuitive as possible. Of course, we were also mindful of any fresh starters, and therefore modeled the onboarding process in a way, that is easy to follow for everybody.

The result: Both, beginners and professional traders, can quickly hop on and start trading and investing on MENA’s fastest-growing crypto currency exchange.

We started the process by conducting market research to define Haystack’s competitors and target audience, aligning expectations along the way. The initial research helped guide the conceptualization and collaborative approach to develop the new Haystack brand and visual identity. future-proof and ready for new product additions and growth, while visually communicating the complete ecosystem the 15Five platform offers.

CoinMENA is positioned for explosive growth, as it has not only successfully bridged the gap of crypto investment in the MENA region, but has also become the go-to exchange, known for its prompt transactions, variety of assets, beginner-friendly design, and educated approach.
